Nice view of the Rhine. The food was expandable.

Simple but beautifully situated terrace with a direct view of the Rhine and Düsseldorf Himmelgeist. Friendly non-local staff and well chilled drinks. If you only want to stop for a short drink break, this is the right place. Unfortunately the food, the most important thing in a restaurant, is not so good. Convenience food. Not prepared by yourself. My schnitzel was neither airy nor coated in a good breading, let alone spicy. When the waitress asked whether the food was tasty, I kindly explained the deficits. Then she quickly disappeared, there was no further reaction. I will definitely not come back for dinner, too bad.

Update: The last visits were good and so was the food. That's why it is upgraded to 4 stars. Still find some dishes a little overpriced. The view is great and you can just sit comfortably with a glass of beer or wine. The staff is very nice and always eager to help.

Always full, good food but of course 3-5 € more expensive. You pay for the Rhine view. But for that you look for a location from ☆☆☆☆☆☆

The location with a view of the Rhine, unique! There is something decent on the plate and in the glass, served by the friendly staff. Every time it's like a day of vacation!

Everything is just right in this place. Reception, service, the really excellent dishes and drinks leave nothing to be desired. The steak with chanterelles and tagliatelle was outstanding. We were only there for a beer. Super nice service and a beautiful view of the Rhine. Of course it is with one who did not stay because we felt very comfortable. And we'll come back to eat!

The service was unfortunately not convincing, but the food was delicious! For the price, the service could be even better, maybe a waiter training course every quarter? ☀️

Unfortunately the restaurant does not do what you would expect. High prices, good location but the food was badly seasoned, the loins were cooked through and dry, the fried potatoes were inedible they looked as if they had been kept warm for a long time ... all together a culinary disappointment.

This is a beautiful spot where you can spend a sunny day at the Rhein-Beach and enjoy the mild water temperature.

The food was delicious and plentiful. The view directly onto the Rhine was also great. It was also extremely pleasant that the restaurant took sound-absorbing measures. It was so pleasantly quiet and you could have a normal conversation. You have to be lucky when parking in front of the restaurant. We had to park 2-3 streets further as everything was occupied. Would love to come back.

Recommended • the food was delicious combined with a very attentive service. The view over the river is very nice, too.
